Music Beat Therapy Services offer multiple fee options for our music therapy services.
NDIS
For NDIS participants, we align our fees with the current NDIS Price Guide of $156.16 per hour.
Support @ Home & Private Paying Participants
For Support @ Home and Private Paying participants, we offer an all-inclusive unit price of *$200.00 per hour (including GST).
All sessions are charged with a face to face contact session fee (direct time with your therapist) plus an additional non-contact fee, which is charged in relation to your session duration.
This is to allow your Registered Music Therapist to:
- Prepare and plan the session
- Set up the therapy space
- Coordinate and liaise with stakeholders
- Prepare service delivery documentation
- Case supervision
- Provide clinical documentation and measure outcomes after each session
- Create and prepare/ record resources and songs for participants
Group Music Therapy
For NDIS groups, the contact rate will be split between participants and each participant will be charged a separate non-contact rate.
For Organisational groups, an all-inclusive session rate will be passed onto the organisation.
Minimum numbers are required to run a group. For schools or organisations wanting group programs please contact us directly at [email protected].
Support @ Home & Private Paying Fees
Individual sessions are charged as an all inclusive unit price of $200 per session*.
Sessions include:
- 45 minutes face to face
- 15 minutes non contact time
- GST
*Note the following additional charges may apply:
- 1 hr initial assessment fee
- 1 hr annual program review
- Mobile sessions incur additional travel cost
Initial Assessment Sessions
At Music Beat Therapy Services, we conduct a client’s assessment over a three session period. There is a one off assessment fee of $312.32 (billed as 2 hours of time), which includes an assessment report, formulation of goals and a support plan, risk assessment and development of any resources required for the assessment sessions.
The assessment fee will be charged in addition to the regular sessions fees during the assessment period.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Music Beat Therapy Services is a registered service provider for NDIS participants.
You are able to find us in the Provider Finder on the NDIS participant and provider portals by searching for “Music Beat Australia” under the profession of “Music Therapist”.

Payment Policy
All payments are due within 14 days of being invoiced.
Music Beat Therapy Services reserves the right to place music therapy programs on hold if there are 2 or more invoices overdue.
Cancellation/Non-Attendance Policy

Cancellation within 48 hrs of scheduled session 100% full fee
- Travel (labour costs) will be charged on late cancellations
- Kilometres (non labour costs) will be charged on the day of the appointment if the therapist has commenced their mobile services for the day.
Please make every effort to give as much notice if you cannot attend a session. This allows for the best possible use of the therapist’s time. Though these cancellation fees are enforced, please note we do take each and every circumstance into consideration.

Travel - Labour Costs $78.08/hr
Travel labour costs (including return travel) includes the time taken to travel by your Registered Music Therapist. Travel will be based on the hourly rate, and will be calculated based on location and the number of participants each day.

Travel - non labour costs $0.99/km
Travel non-labour costs include kilometres travelled by your Registered Music Therapist They are charged at $0.99/km. Kilometres will be calculated and shared across participants on each day of service.
