Tom is a Registered Music Therapist who holds a Bachelor of Music and Sound Design from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Master of Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne.

Tom is especially passionate about exploring the ways in which music technology and adaptive equipment can support people to engage in meaningful music-making, regardless of their capacity. While he works with clients across the lifespan, Tom is most excited by his work with adults in the areas of disability and mental health.

As Music Beat’s Assistive Solutions Team Leader, Tom has overseen the development of the Music Beat Studio, an accessible music production space that has been tailored to a range of diverse needs, and that gives clients the tools to take the lead in creating and recording their own music.
