Therapeutic Support Work
Music Beat Therapy Services offers therapeutic support work delivered by our Allied Health Therapy Assistants. These supports are designed to help participants access their community and apply skills developed in music therapy sessions to everyday life.
Our approach focuses on building independence, confidence, and meaningful participation through structured, goal-based activities.
Therapeutic Programs with Your Support Worker
We can also develop individualised therapeutic programs for participants to complete with their own support worker. These programs are tailored to each person’s needs, interests, and goals, and may incorporate educational, therapeutic, and daily living outcomes.
Programs are designed to support the transfer of skills into real-life contexts, helping participants build consistency and progress outside of therapy sessions.
Examples of program activities may include:
- Building interoceptive awareness through music
- Using music strategies within the home environment
- Cooking and food safety skills
- Creative arts, such as self-portrait development
- Nature-based activities and creative exploration
- Structured weekly activities targeting therapeutic and personal goals
Program Fees
Programs can be adapted over time to reflect progress and changing goals, ensuring ongoing relevance and engagement.
